A montage of shots from our recent wedding:)
Any comments appreciated....he says in embarrasment:o looking down the reviews list!
Cheers,
Flame.
Excellent - if ever I get to that level I'll be a happy chappy.
I thought there was maybe just a bit too much of the glow/ray type effect and that reflection at 1:38ish was just weird.
'Iris' is a great song to edit to and I think that was editied perfectly to it. It's also an easy song to cut a verse out of when you realise you don't have enough footage....as in my curredt edit!

Nice mix of shots there Jon. I even had the music on as well. Graduated Filter effect works well as did the 'reflection trick'.
Filmed at your fav venue last week upnorth. Allerton Castle :). Even dimmer light than normal.
I'll post a clip if I find time.
Excellent :)
Thx for the comments, I wanted that particular clip to be weird! so it must have worked!:)
Cheers,
Flame.

Cheers,
Flame.
I'd listen to your wife John, I think the ladies would be more impressed with No1.
Thx Pete:)
And she's told me off for using the rays so she must be right!:D
Any one got a magic tablet to stop this ray addiction.....:)
Cheers,
Flame.
Those aren't wedding videos! They look like movies! Flame, you are an artist! There is none of the awkwardness that accompanies many wedding clips. The editing is smooth and your choice of clips is impeccable! Every smile is natural and unforced. Bravo!
Having gushed a bit, I would say I preferred the first version. I found it a bit more consistent throughout. Either one would be fine, but I like the first. Tell your wife she's not always wrong!!
Any one got a magic tablet to stop this ray addiction.....:)
Flame.
For ray addiction read 'pull focus/hosepipe/tilt/pan/steadicam shot'
In moderation, 'wow! Every 20 seconds, yawn.
We all get over enthusiastic with new tricks. It'll pass Jon :)
Hi Mike, Thx for taking the time out to review both clips, extremely appreciated and for your comments......still striving to improve like us all...
Branny, just gone out and bought a book called 'The nerds guide to light rays and their effects'
Cheers:D
