We are using this as our first play on our new sample DVD. It is still very much in draft stage, so changes will be made....

Any comments appreciated.

Thank you.

Love it John - if that's the draft I don't know what to suggest in the way of improvement! A little long perhaps, but only perhaps :)

If i'm being hyper critical then a few shots seemed repetative. I felt I seen the shot from behind the photographer once too many times IMHO. as I said I'm being pernicaty .

On the minute mark you have "voted as ON of the top 5 wedding tv film makers" should that be ONE?

Seriously, thx for spotting that...I think I will hire you as my proof reader....sometimes you can look at spelling so much and yet wonder how you missed it!

Tell me about it. Last year I d designed my leaflets for the wedding show at the SECC, spent ages looking over it and again when the printing company sent the proof. Yet within 5 minutes of getting the final delivery a friend spotted 3 mistakes ARGHHHHH!!!!

Great work John and good use of the awards for the promotion.
I'm sure you won't be able to resist a tweak here and there though.
This style, as I'm sure you're aware, was developed by Graham Fenton and set the world of video alight a good decade + ago.
Many operators have continued in a similar style, but you look to be putting your own twist on it too. GF would have been proud of you!

Do not follow, I may not lead. Do not lead . . . I may not follow.

It's great - your usual excellence. ;) Only concern I have is using it as a first play. It's way too long surly? (no I'm not calling you Shirley :) ) I could see people copping the hump if having to sit through it everytime they wanted to pop your demo on. Great as a showreel though.

Thx mike and arthur for your comments,

My showreel has completely changed since posting this:rolleyes: can't help tweaking:)

If I use it as first play I will obviously inform my clients they can skip by just pressing menu on remote:)

We just filmed a chinese wedding, so will add this to it for more variety as it was shot 70%with glidecam and 30% off glidecam to get alternate shots not feasible while on glidecam.

Cheers:)
