Win 2000 vs Win 98

Using Dv now Av with Win 98SE I am still plagued with occasional freezes or crashes, even on a perfectly clean and optimized system...Is there any real benefit to switch to Win 2000 with regards to those problems ?

Oh yes. Win98 is total junk compared to Win2K as far as stability is concerned. It's not even in the same ballpark.

ya right 2000 cant reboot with out crashing the registry
