I found that to be very nicely shot and well edited, for the most part. However, I did have a problem with the first few shots. Every one of them was tilted, causing me to feel like I was going to slide off my seat! ;)
I have often had a problem understanding why many wedding videogs do that tilted camera thing. In film "language" an askew view often means that something is unsettled and off kilter, exactly the opposite feeling of what I would expect you would want for a wedding vid.
thanks for your kind words. I started to change alot of my work after going to an open evening for the graham fenton experience, I was very impressed with their work, however it is a little bit too MTV for me. But this company must being doing things right as the price package shows.

Had a look. Quite nice. Wife and I are absolutely hooked on You Raised Me Up after watching. It fitted admirably. Went out to buy it. Couldn't. Any idea where we can now purchase You Raised Me Up.... ? T.I.A.
Ron.
Loved it!
you can get the song from Westlife Album, Josh Groban did it originally.
I have got it from Limewire

Not sure that's the kind of comment you want to be making in a public forum. :)
I get what you mean, but i have limewire to listen on my latop.
Nce, but don't you just hate it when the photographer has to stop them half way down the aisle! Mike may have a problem with your tilt shots because you tend to do them from the opposite direction to many people. Out of idle curiosity are you left handed?
Were the couple there to accompany the music or was the music there to accompany the couple?
Call me old fashioned but I like to hear the ambient sound. I also like shots that are rock solid, pin sharp and dead level. Shaky, poorly framed and well pissed shots don't do it for me.
One of the effects that I liked in your piece was the strong white flash transition from one scene to the next on the heavy down beat.
just wondering how you achieved that.
I'm a sentimental old fool so I go for the scenes where the Bride wipes the tears from her eyes (and no tilts). IMHO these are the ones which catch the viewers as, unlike the camera person, they are not in a position to see them.
BTW I also agree with Ikeuser that the music shouldn't take over as this does.
