Hi Folks

I'm looking to sell on my trusty Z7 cams as I'm looking to buy something different.  Will sell individually but will offer both cams for £2500 saving you £300 off the individual prices.  The firmware on both these cameras does not keep track of the hours accurately which is a issue Sony fixed for free in the USA but wanted £300 per camera here in the UK.  However, it does record the number of tapes loaded into the camera accurately.  I have always used 1 hour tapes as a back up to the memory recorder so will list the number of tapes that have gone through the camera.  Obviously not all the tape will have been used on shoots so the hours listed here will be higher than they actually are.  Here's a link to the issue on the Sony website for clarification -

Camera 1

Good condition.  Few minor scuffs.  Lens is in good condition.  Comes with original Sony mic,  original Sony dual battery charger,  one original Sony NP-F570 Battery, 3 non Sony NP-F960 long life batteries, Sony HVR-MRC1K memory recorder and cradle for recording to Compact Flash, 3 compact flash cards (Transcend 16gb and 2x 32gb) and remote control.

Tapes threaded 102x10 so a maximum of 1020 hours on the heads.

£1500

Camera 2

Same condition as camera 1.  Comes with original Sony mic,  original Sony dual battery charger,  one original Sony NP-F570 Battery, 3 non Sony NP-F960 long life batteries, Sony HVR-MRC1K memory recorder**(slight crack on unit but has not affected performance) for recording to Compact Flash, 3 compact flash cards (Transcend 16gb and 2x 32gb) and remote control.

Tapes threaded 91x10 so a max of 910 hours on the head.

**the cradle for the memory recorder became faulty so I replaced it with a USB3 card reader which actually transfers the footage faster than the firewire 400 enabled cradle.

£1300

Buyer pays postage for individual cams but if you buy both, I'll cover the postage.

Thanks for looking folks and if you have any questions, please fire away.

Cheers

Jon
