I am looking for a new A3 printer for photos, any recommendation would be appreciated.

The epson 1290 is avery good printer its A3+
i produce excellent A3 using genuine cartridges and Photo Gloss ink Jet Film from www.on-linepaper.co.uk Retail price is around £300 but you could try a company i use called inktec Midlands 01902 846060 he does 1290 for £225 plus geniune cartridges around £25 a set

Jimmy, if you're interested in printing directly onto CDs (or, of course, DVDs), with an A3 photo inkjet printer, then consider the new Epson 2100.

I’ve just spent an arm, leg and various other body parts! on a new G4 Mac. having to now watch the pennies. The 2100 looks great but a bit expensive, I know you get what you pay for.......
I’m hoping the 2100 will drop in price before too long.
