Does anyone know how or where I can get a realistic kit to make someone bald and unfortunately he doesn't want to shave his head (which is a real pity ) so I have to do it with sfx. I've came across a very thin latex cap but that was useless.

Appreciate any help.
Cheers,
Pat

The only ones I know of are sold via theatrical suppliers. (rather than joke shops)
I'm in Berkshire, so we use Lancellyn Lighting in Oxford, or AJS in Bournemouth.
Try a search for Theatrical Suppliers in your area.
One point though, most are sold for stage use, so close-up is not a problem. you need one poss sold as suitable for film/TV and this will cost.
I used to work in the theatre, and the few baldies that I saw were good at 6ft. From what I remember, the actors used to slick bck their hair with gell / cream and apply loads of foundation over the wig They also used to use a liquid latex to cover the join.

You might try more than one at a time.

Hope that this helps
