I always find it cringeworthy though watching adults posturing with BB guns. It's a strange world!
Shot it for a bit of fun after we had got talking to the organiser plus being Ex Army :-) reminded me of when I was serving!
I took one in the gut, drew blood & a fair old bruise, at the end of the clip you can hear this Aussie guy say "Your cameraman got hit" I was wearing a white helmet to show I was "Non-Combatant" combat trousers & a thin vest plus eye protection, not much to ward off clay pellets. You`ll see a female who I jokingly accused of shooting me, THEN I find out she has her own minder, oops!
It looks like you must have given yourself a fair beasting getting all those shots! I'm not surprised you suffered a blue on blue, with their horrible lack of FIBUA skills! :D
Looks like fun but I think that with the buildup of the titles and music you should have gotten right into the action rather than show a bunch of shots of people just standing around.
There were 4 games, one of which I shot from the top of an embankment, the other three I was down amongst it! Apart from standing in the line of fire (I did actually take three in the hip & one in the gut which as I said before, drew blood & a big bruise, plus a scar) I don`t know how I could have done it differently. The guys stood around were letting of shots plus I showed movement, still, it was good fun.
The other thing I forgot to mention was that the Indo`s cheated in three of the four games but I edited it to show the Brits winning :-) Well if the Yank film industry can change history by giving the impression that they captured the Inigma machine from the Germans, I sure as hell can show our guys winning the battle of Jimbaran.
You should think yourself lucky Baz. The last time I went-a-paintballing, there was an official 'tog for a mag onsite. There he is standing behind one of the 'forts' that 3 girls were defending, when one suddenly realised someone was behind her, spun round, and shot him in the googlies. :D :D :D
