Especially for comic book mad James Lundy!
Here's a Batman title sequence I made about a year ago to drum up the enthusiasm when we were writing our Batman fan film (and for the CG practice). I wanted to create something that would look cool when the film opened, and the idea of surrounding our logo with a few thousand bats seemed appropriate!
Having not seen it for some time, I looked at the AE project and was horrified with what I saw (How I've improved since!).. It's okay for a demo, but I'd redo it completely for the film itself (which is currently being rewritten). For example, the cloud flythrough seems rather odd now!
The excellent music is Danny Elfman from the first Tim Burton movie, again, this would never be used in the final film for obvious reasons!

Sorry to be the doom and doom of the party again but I'm confused, up till we went through the Batman outline all was fine, but flying above the clouds I started to think "Superman"!
Apart from my mental confusion I'm very impressive.
Yes, as I said: the cloud flythrough seems rather odd now!
:)
Well I liked it. Very impressive! :)

I would also check that the Batman silhouette is not Copyright, I would be amazed if it wasn't...
The clouds were cool - Bats could have been in his jet, or you could be making the on/off/on/off/never going to happen/might happen Batman vs Superman movie. :)
If it's a fan film, and your not making any money, you wouldn't likely be hunted down. If that were the case the internet wouldn't be full of fan films, and George Lucas wouldn't endorse people making star wars fan films.
Best of luck with the film Christian - should be the next Dead End!
I thought it looked cool.
