Bought this wee drill about 15 years ago, maybe even longer, at the time when I was using S VHS C cameras.
Clearing out the shed last weekand found it in a box tucked under my workbench.
I was about to drop it in the bin, certain that after all this time it would be totaly knackered but I decided out of pure curiosity to stick it on charge to see what happened.
It took a full charge and worked with plenty of power and speed. That was three days ago and without any top up charge, it is still going strong.
Since new it has had hundreds of re-charges and loads of abuse like being left lying outside in both rain and freezing weather.
My question is...Why couldn't they put ni-cad batteries like that in video cameras.
I now seem to spend a lot of time arguing with inanimate objects
Cos it would cost them a fortune in lost sales 
Good to see some things last though!
Picked up that wee drill/screwdrived today and, after five weeks, it is still holding a good charge and is full of life.

Came across his wee tool after it has been lying at the bottom of a box for over a year.
It tooka full charge and I've been using it on and off for the last four days without a re-charge and it's still full of life.
I'm begining to tyink that somehow or another, a factory error has created a unique battery ??
