Hi, can anyone please tell me if ( and how) I can add some graphic effects to an AVI file I have created. I have a shot of film of three people staring in the general direction of the camera. i then want to ad a glowing ball which will rise out of site. Can this be done with any of the ULead products, say video studio 4 or Media Studio 6 ?
Thanks in advance, Craig....

You can definitely do it with MSP 6. The best effect would probably be achieved using Video Paint (assuming you have the full version). It gives you a range of painting tools (like any image paint program) that you can use to paint over video.

Having painted your ball on one frame (or pasted from an image if you have one) you can duplicate the paint overlay onto other frames, with the option of having its position increment in a chosen direction on each successive frame. That would give you the rising effect.

I don't think VS can do anything like that.

Cheers, that's something I shall look at over the weekend. I don't have the paint package you mentioned, will PhotoShop 5.5 be of any use ? I guess i'll just have to give it a try......thanx again....
