Colour Correction

I use PYRO with ULEAD MS Pro V6SE, and also have ULEAD Video Studio 4, Pinnacle Studio DC10+ and MAINACTOR.

I have some DV video footage taken underwater, which I want to colour correct by reducing the 'blue' content, and increasing the yellow/red content.

This facility was available if I recall in MGI Videowave which I used with the BUZ card a few years back.

Question is, does MS Pro V6 have this facility, and if so, how to I get to it?

Many thanks for any advice.

In the timeline click on the clip you want to change, then right-click.

You can either select Color calibration or Video filters.

Color calibration has a hue control which is designed to compensate for phase errors in the NTSC system. it might do the trick.

I prefer Video filters/brightness contrast filter. With the brightness contrast filter in the right hand list, click options; this will present the brightness/contrast faders; there is also a pull down menu which defaults to master. click on blue. reduce the blue contrast/brightness, or, experiment with adding red. These controls are not subtle!! so note your settings and compare the result with a reference you trust! (on a decent monitor)
