Cure for a Vegas problem

Having updated to Win 10, Vegas Pro 12 appeared to be working very well. Better than with Win 7. then I had to rotate a not very vertical clip, and although it rotates, I could not get rid of the wedges of black all round.

After a bit of head scratching, I tried right click clip/ switches/ uncheck maintain aspect ratio. I can now expand the clip, and hide the black wedges.

Anyone else had this problem, and did you find a cure?

I also have Vegas Studio 10 HD and the crop tool works perfectly in that.

Hi John

Donj't use Vegas but could you just increase the scale of the clip?

Hi harry.

Un-checking “maintain aspect ratio” does just that. I can then expand the clip using the crop tool. I havn`t looked to see if it can be done with anything else.
