My Nero won't work in my laptop and I need to copy some discs.

Does anyone know of a program I can download.

Cheers.

Try imgburn, its free and does what it says on the tin.

Look carefully at the tick boxes when you install it as it will install stuff you don't want if you go for the express options.
Choose the custom install options and untick all the boxes to get a clean install.

I'll have another go at that.

I installed imgburn but must have got it wrong as I managed to download all sorts of junk along with it.

Cheers.

Hi Robert

Been a long time since I loaded ImgBurn but I think there just might be a box to tick somewhere to stop installing the usual rubbish.  I always check this now as they seem to like changing your Web browser/Search engine and other add ons.

Hope all is well up north.

Cheers Harry.

All is as well as can be expected.

Well...maybe just a wee bit over excited because Tesco are selling Bells at £15 per Ltr.
Got a supply in this morning but will go back for more later.  smiley

Cheers.

I'm shocked that you can drink that stuff.

You have destroyed my image of you being a whisky connoisseur.  frown

After drinking a good single malt I can't go back and drink the cheap stuff.

So I normally drink Glenfiddich 18 or 15 - or 12 if I have no money (I don't like peat too much).

But I do keep an eye on various supermarkets and then buy several bottles when they have special deals - the 14 year old Oak Glenfiddich that was on offer at Sainsbury recently was very nice, but when I went back for more the offer had finished. no

What's all this . . . ?   Is this whiskey snobbery !   I like Bells or whatever and drink it with dry ginger once a day at lunchtime before my main meal.   I'm astounded at the alchee stuff I'm reading in this Disc Copier page !

No wonder some of you are not very good at hand-held work . . .
