Please please help!
I am using Premiere 5.1c with the DV500 capture card. When trying to capture dv video using the Capture>Movie Capture command in Premiere, and as soon as I press "escape" to stop capturing from my digiatl video deck (SONY DCRVX2000), windows media player starts to play back the 'captured' temporary file and then immediately locks-up my system.
My system configuration is as follows:
Processor: Athlon 550mhz
RAM: 512mb
Motherboard: ASUS K7M (AMD 751 Northbridge and VIA 82c686A Southbridge)
Graphics Card: Matrox G400 Millenium 16mb - latest drivers as of 7th March 2001
Before running Premiere I make sure there are no programs running in the background - via ctrl-alt-deleting all running programs - EXCEPT 'explorer' and 'systray'
I am using Direct X version 8 and have the latest Windows Media Player - version 7
I know there are some compatibility problems with various chipsets but the Pinnacle web-site says that my motherboard is compatible.
Once again...please please can SoMeOne helP!!!
Thanks....
