One of my drives on an editing only computer tells me it has a capacity of 189GB. The free content is 186GB. Used is stated as 3.81GB.
Thise figures come using "My Computer" and right clicking to 'Properties'.
I have enabled the "see hiden files" hoping to see the 3.81GB.
All Pemiere Pro video was deleted from this drive and was done by going to the end of each string and working backwards deleting all files as they were displayed.
Can anyone please explain how I can find what the 3.81GB is?
have you emptied your recycle bin. If you use norton is actually doesn't update until you purge the bin. Not sure what happens normally.
I think that you'll find that you always loose some capacity due to formatting
Thank you Michael. I should have know better. 3.81GB is now reduced to 71.1MB
