How do I get the finished movie from P6 to tape...either VHS or DV? Fast Forward is not recognizing the P6 saved format.

You could render it and then play from the Premiere timeline. That is what I do.

And this was the first time I've seen "flood control" on this (or any other) board!

I have rendered it. It plays great on the timeline in P6...BUT how do I get it to VHS tape? What format do I save it in?

What I do is I connect the VCR input to the AV output of the DV.now AV breakout box, put the VCR in record pause, start to play the timeline and start the recorder. I usually put about 10 seconds of black at the start of each program to act as a leader. For dump to DV tape I have a DV recorder connected (via firewire) and do the same. Again, for my purposes the device control is not needed when I dump to tape.

No need to save it in any special format other than the project file, unless you have some other specific actions in mind.

Odd. Do you get anything from the AV output jacks on the breakout box? This may be a dumb quesiton, but is the VCR set for line input?

The leads from the B/O box are set into the input side at the rear. I can record the raw clips in FAST, but I cannot seem to record the finished movie from P6. FAST is not recognizing the ppj. file extension that the P6 movie is saved in.

First of all, the Editing Mode of your Premiere Project Settings/General must be set to "FAST-Dazzle DV". The red REC/Play LED on the B/O box should be on when the Timeline is being played.
Good luck.
