I have tried to format an 80GB internal drive in my G4 2x1GHz. I wanted to write zeros all over the disk to be sure it was clean before starting a new video project. After about half the time formatting stops. I tested with disk control and it says disk is all right. But in the end a message comes in green text saying "1 non-HFS-unit was controled". After disk repair the green text says "1 non-HFS-unit was repaired". Before that it says that the unit seems to be all right. I have formatted the disk as MacOS Extended.
Can I go on with my project? Glad to hear from anybody.
