First really nicely made film I've seen using a RC flying machine.

I don't know anything about the film-maker, and despite the fact that it's gone pretty viral they're not doing anything to court publicity or capitalise on it. Google for them and you come up with... nothing.

What does the law say about all this? I was under the impression you couldn't fly one of these with a camera for money unless you had a CAA licence, as it comes under the category of surveillance work.

Encore CS4 End action will not execute because of end action on the final chapter point.

Adobe Encore CS4 - please help!
Error I’m getting for section titled 'Notes' (PP still 45 second video): “End action will not execute because of end action on the final chapter point.”

I’m trying to end action a portion of video by going back to main menu; also tried end action ‘Stop’ and neither work.

Think you could edit a car chase?

Video editing show/demo reel help

This is my first post, so sorry if this isn't the correct subforum.

I'm currently making a showreel, I've read some tips and got some inspiration from other sources...but I'm still not sure on what I should be making here.

What are people actually looking out for in a video editing showreel?

When it's something like VFX or colour grading, well that's obvious; you're looking out for the VFX and colour grading.

Soundtrack Bed Over Entire Film & Close Caption

1. What exactly does it mean when a distributor asks for a soundtrack bed over the entire film?

2. Can anyone lead me to the details of what a distributor is typically looking for when he asks for closed caption in your movie?

My cameras can't cope with the supersaturated colours produced by LED parcans. Any hints?

I've shot two shows recently which have been lit with LED parcans. One was theatre, one dance, but both resulted in oversaturated colours such that my cameras - Sony EX1s, and Sony Z5Es recording to Ninjas - just couldn't cope with the bright blues, and I've ended up with something very ugly indeed. Even lots of post-correction couldn't fix it.
