DVD on Pen Drive

A video project, edited using Premiere Pro. was burnt to DVD.

The DVD was put on a Pen Drive to play on a Panasonic TV. It does play on a computer.

The TV process uses Media player. That got as far as displaying the usb icon.

Nothing then selected enabled the Pen Drive to play it's contents.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

My Epson PX730W tells me that the ink tank is full and refuses to print.
Now I had this problem with an older printer a few years ago and some kind soul here on the forum gave me a link to a download to reactivate the printer.

I just need it to work long enough to finish the job I'm doing and then get it to an Epson Repair Shop.

I've used Chromecast for the last few months and find it a brilliant solution for watching mp4 or mp2 video on the TV

Perfect for reviewing your edited video without burning a DVD or copying to a memory stick

Also great for watching youtube videos (Which I could already do with my Humax by pairing with my laptop)

Chromecast is worth thirty squid imho

I had a rescue job for a mate recently and tried numerous Windows recovery solutions on her hard drive, which was placed in an external USB hard drive hub which chugged along for hours analyzing the RAW hard drive, when it recovered something half the time it wouldn't open!

Then tried a Puppy Linux CD, which I was given in 2009 ago by a IT Tech mate, I never used it til last week, Linux runs from the CD, nowt installed

Delete vs. Move

A very simple question (I hope). When one uses “Delete” (or Shift-Delete) to delete a file, I understand that it is not really deleted, one only deletes its “pointer” that tell the OS where the file is. The file itself is still in the hard disk, and that is why one sometimes can recover it with the appropriate software.
What happens if instead of deleting a file, one uses the MOVE command to move it to a different disk? Is the file in its original place still recoverable as when it is deleted?
