AFter I've captured with FF, edited with PRemiere, can I export all my original FF clips to a CD-ROM? And then be able to import clips from the CD to FF or PRemiere to use at a later date if I decide to re-edit.
My hard drive is filling up and I want to free up some space.
You could, but keep in mind that a CD only holds about 640 to 700 megabytes of data, which is a bit over 2 minutes of DV data stream. Also you would have to be sure to save all the associated files.
It may be more effective to save the project files and then recaptue the video from the original tapes, but that may not be practical if some of your material is on analog tape without out timecode control of capture.
