To mark the launch of EDIUS 6.5, Holdan is running an exciting editing competition, with £3,000 of prizes on offer. Winners stand to walk away with a free copy of EDIUS or one of ten upgrades to the latest version of the software.

EDIUS is  an advanced tool used widely by professionals from videographers to broadcasters. Users on short deadlines and tight turn-arounds, whether it be a multi-camera sports report or a long-form event video, depend on the speed, stability and ease of use of EDIUS which is built for fast, high quality results.

To take part in the competition, entrants should simply upload a 3-minute video to YouTube - created in any version of EDIUS. Then email the link to Holdan and await the results of the judging panel.

Richard Payne, Technical Development Manager at Holdan said: "EDIUS 6.5 is perfect for no nonsense editing, colouring and titling - the essentials of editing. Working with multiple formats and codecs on the timeline, with no need to transcode, EDIUS is a very efficient tool. Now with stereoscopic editing features and even more formats - up-to 4K - supported natively, 6.5 is an excellent upgrade."

Entrants must upload their videos and notify Holdan of their participation by 5pm on 30th June. Judging takes place from the 1st July, with winners notified by the 8th July.
