Hi all,
After videoing  a family christening, I've been asked by my nephew to reccomend a small, not too expensive, HD camcorder to record his grandson growing up.

He has looked at my panasonic SD900 which he likes, doesn't want to pay quite that much but wants something better than his mobile phone.

Any suggestions/reccomendations gratefully received.

Thanks
Tony

I recently bought a Panny HC-W570 for holidays, at the time, last Xmas, it was £262 less £30 cash back from Currys! Used it recently whilst in South Africa & worked very well. No inputs for mics etc only downside is the sound not as good as what were used to but for domestic use it`s worth checking out!

Thanks Barry,
I haven't been able to reply till now, PC problems now sorted.
The reviews confirm that the sound is not too good but for recording the family growing up I think it will do him OK
