Hi folks, been busy lately and not needed you educated folk as things been working pretty good! However a minor issue we had this week has been a certain audio file that when rendered and finalised onto DVD the audio level has been very low when playing back. All other stuff has been fine except for this particular audio file. One suggestion has been that the "fullness" of the audio track hitting 0dB affects the Dolby set up to reduce the output level. A solution has been to reset the audio to work on MPEG 1 Layer 2 or even PCM and watch the audio levels manually.
What say you the experts?
Thanks guys
Cary

MPEG1? sounds like poor quality video would come out of this. I'd say PCM myself :)

Do not follow, I may not lead. Do not lead . . . I may not follow.

Hi Branny, I decided as a last resort to re-load the software from scratch last week as I could not get any remedial answers. Problem has gone away!! I still would like to know why this has happened as the system works correctly now even using this particular track!
