Odd one this, i'm getting output via my Decklink intensity card in After Effects CS5 and Photoshop, but not Premier Pro CS5?? as i'm getting output in the other's that means the card, cable and TV are working, just nothing coming out. I've opened a proj, dropped bars on it and rendered them, nothing. I've done everything that they say in the decklink manual, and sent a support request.
Any ideas......
Dominic
Hi Dominic,
I don't thave this card myself but..
Check preferences (device control?) for any enabled options.
Check capture screen (settings, DV/HDV option etc)
I know you're trying to ouput but it may still influence.
Bear in mine PP is now multiformat HD and SD etc within same project, so default output settings can't be implied in same way. Try both HD and SD timelines as a test.
Close other AV apps when testing, to avoid possible contentions.. though I suppose the 'other' application content would be displaying if that was the case.
As a workaround till fix is found you could link PP timeline within AE.. if it's of any practical help.

Thanks for that Dave, i think i've done all those but will double check when i get into the office in the morning.
are you sure your project is a Blackmagic codec selected sequence? you get no output otherwise, if I recall correctly.
Paul :-)
That may well be the answer!! no i did'nt use a Blackmagic codec, i used the Prem pro XD cam one! does that mean i can only use the out put using the blackmagic codec and not native XDcam?
By the way, allways ment to ask, do you know Sam and Johnny Hocking in sant Carlos? there musians
Dominic
Paul, you were correct, i found the XD cam profile in the Blackmagic folder and hay presto.
Many thanks
Hi Dominic,
Glad that fixed it - and, no, I know them not, although Bar Anita's in S.Carlos is a local hang out, that's where my post box is!
Paul :-)
