This morning by chance i was watching BBC breakfast show. 3 young lads have got a idea of parting with your money from a £1 to £50 to invest in a film for advertising space and name.
The web page is BUYACREDIT.COM
I do not no the full details but they hope to start next year.
This brings me back to last year when i mentioned the idea on the forum about us in England to use our talent and make a video. But that fell on stoney grounds. Which is fair on one aspect.
But we can be involved in regards trying to organize a wedding web site.
I think there are a lot of younger generation who read this forum and would possible like to work with some of us old and young timers who have a wealth of knowledge. It would be a question of harnessing this wealth into a video unit.

This hearkens back to my iFilm project in a way - good luck to them. It's great in theory to have these grandiose ideas... it's putting it into practice in the real world and the apathy you encounter that eventually makes these things fail. :(

It is not a grandiose idea. They have the backing of Steven Fry and they have the money and the script. Shooting will start next year.
The real world in some aspect are frighten at times to take a gamble.
I have seen many british dud movies being made as those people who invested had no idea how this business works. But that is a other story.
Plus there are many good films or videos being made, but they cant get the air time to show them. With some channels on the market on day there will be room for such a project to show these kind of entertainment media.
