Hey guys,
when i capture from my Sony HVR-Z1 i get out of sync audio in my software.
i,ve google'd this problem and apparently the answer is to capture using third party software?
also read somewhere it maybe a sound card issue
if i capture from a PD170 [SD of course] there's never a fault
any ideas why this happens anyone. or have you had the same problem? can you shed any thoughts ides?
I,m using
Sony CS4
and its a PC based system, 6gig quad core blah blah.
I assuming you're capturing both video and audio simultaneously via FireWire?
Are you capturing onto a SEPARATE drive from your system drive?
yes i use firewire and capture in the usual manner.
i,ve checked all my settings in preferences and have set up the project as 50i etc etc.
:o

Hey guys,

gavin, it only does it when importing HDV. when i import DV theres no issues.
thansk for your input guys.
Have you exported a section of HDV to DVD/Blu-ray disc to check it's not just a preview issue?

good question that, i will also check the raw file in the project file. if thats in sync then its CS4 playback and not capture? ..
guess that will narrow it down
