Printer recommendations

My scanner has just given up the ghost. PC World have an Epson Stylus C42 - described as
photo-quality for just under £70.

I wonder if anyone knows anything about this printer. I like the idea edge to edge printing for photography. But I also need the printer to knock out simple MS Word text hand-outs too.

Any advice is welcome.

using a canon s520 for a4 edge to edge printing of photographs from a kodak 3600.
produces nice ordinary text/graphics printouts too.
costs a bit more than the one you are looking at though.

810.

I just bought an 810 from Dixons for 74 quid - it's outstanding!!!
