How can one delete an installed software from once computer. My wife installed "Tiger" from a DV disk and the person did not download the full version.
She would like to go back to her original set up.
I'm still waiting to do mine as a gentleman on this forum will tell me when he can sort me out.

Put the Panther disk in the Mac, reboot, hold down the C key or the Alt key, Mac will boot to CD/DVD - choose "Clean Install".

Everything will be wiped and Panther installed as if it was a new machine. You will lose everything on the machine - no way round that.

Maxwell you can purchase the upgrade from any Apple shop and many other software retailers. You won't need to wait for the "gentleman", or were you perhaps looking for a 'dodgy' copy? :D

Thank you very much. My wife is in tears. I did say she can copy what she wants to keep.
We never had these problems in the 60s. Modern technology is a wonderful invention. But the headaches can can give you is priceless.
Once again for the fast reply. 10 out of 10.

Chrome, i would never go for doggy things, Chris from Hallmark Production would help me out if you look under the thread "Quicksilver"
She got the disk from a IT person and i think he did not download the material. I checked with Apple and they do not entertain that software anymore.
I know what you are saying and i agree with your statements.
