In Firefox the navigation at the top of the page is taken over by the advert for Magix eg if I click 'Home' or 'Forums' after reading a post it goes to a full page Magix advert, the normal Magix banner at the top is also not readable it seems to have spread itself across the top of the page but only partly visable?
Mick
PS I've just tried it in IE 8 and it's ok in that, I see where the banner should be which is next to DV Forums logo, in Firefox it's part way down the page

Hi Mick

Not a problem I've had with Firefox 12 or IE 9 on Windows 7

Which OS and Firefox version do you have?

I'm on 13.01 and it's fine for me. Try deleting cookies.

Get my test cards document, and cards for 625, 525, 720 and 1080. Thanks to Gavin Gration for hosting them.
Camera settings documents are held by Daniel Browning and at the EBU
My book, 'Circles of Confusion' is available here.
Also EBU Tech.3335 tells how to test cameras, and R.118 tells how to use the results.

Sorry mine is 13.01 also
It seems to be something to do with the sidebar (I have bookmarks there all the time), if I take it off the ad goes to the correct place, it also stays ok if I reduce the width of the sidebar.

Hi Mick

I can now duplicate your issue if I use the sidebar on a very wide setting, not a feature I use myself

Maybe Tom or Martin can comment next time they are around and see if there is a fix?

I don't use sidebars, they clutter the screen, so it's not been an issue for me.

Hi gents,
Same problem for me also in Firefox but only on Windows 7 machine.
2 XP desktops and an XP laptop are OK on the same version of Firefox.
Same problem on previous versions of Firefox, resolution 1024 x 768.
Same with or without sidebar.

Re: Top navigation not working
Can anyone who has this problem please let us know in this thread two bits of information:

1/ The resolution of the laptop screen or PC monitor

2/ Whether or not you are using larger-than-standard settings for font size or icon size.

Thanks

It's also present on the iPhone

I might have time to try and fix it tonight before I'm back in another muddy field.

I think i have fixed this now - certainly the advert banner is behaving better on the iphone and on low width browsers.
