Ny tosh tecra gets as far as the windows 200 screen and stays there, anyone any idea how to solve, i reallly want to get wahts of the hardrive

Windows 200, eh?
Press F8 as it's starting up and boot into safe mode. See if that lets you at least load Windows. If you don't know how to do that then google for solving windows startup problems. Loads of info out there.
