I have a Canon DC210 DVD camcorder, I have recorded video onto the disc but can’t get it on to my P.C, when I put the disc in to my dvd player the P.C says no disc please place disc in E:\ drive Apparently Canon uses a UDF file format I have be looking for weeks on the internet and have down loaded lots of programs that is supposed to convert it. They did not work but I have a lot of useless software clogging up me P.C. Can you please help me finding something preferably free that will convert UDF to something I can use on my P.C.
Thank you for your help

Re: UDF Converting
Hello Dave,
Welcome to the forums.
Have you finalised the disc in your DVD camcorder?
If you haven't then the disc won't be recognised as a DVD disc in a computer or a set-top DVD player....

Re: UDF Converting
Thanks Mark,
I have not finalised the disc as I would like to make a back first up in-case I loose any of the content on the disc. Which has happened before, after videoing a family wedding I checked what was on the disc through the camera. But when I finalised the disc the end of (and the best part) the video had gone,I was not popular with the family. I would advise fellow members not to fill up the disc as I think whatever the disc has to do eg make a TOC to finalise the disc has over overwritten my last part of my video.
Thank you for your help
