As Dv now Av has onboard audio, what does a sound card add to the system ? Also, I saw a recommandation to disable the Use Windows sound system on Settings > General > Audio, is there any advantage ?

You do not have to use a sound card, because you can monitor audio via the break-out box or via a device device connected to the Firewire. However, you can only use DV.now AV to monitor audio when working in the bundled software - it cannot be used as your Windows sound system. You will still need a normal sound card for Windows audio.
