Hello all, i am looking into buying a digital camcorder plus editing software.
My question is, what do i do once i have completed the editing.
Will i be able to burn onto cd rom and play it on my dvd player (providing my dvd player supports it).
Will i have to buy a dvd-rw which i belive are very expensive.
Please help

Yes you can burn MPEG encoded output to CD ROM. if you want to go the whole hog you can buy a DVD player.
I would try and get some experience writing video disks to CDROM first, see what you think of the quality and experience, then consider DVD if you must.
In 6 months DVD technology would have moved on from where its at now and be cheaper.
