Just wondering what sort of numbers people are managing!

I used mine on Saturady - with Flash.

I managed 12 photos before it died. Yes I did use the LCD screen - but it literally was a blitz session. ie it was all over in about 2 minutes!

Cant see anyone having paid £300 quid could be too happy with those figures!

after my battery was fully recharged and reseated a few times i managed to fill the 32 mb cartridge.

at approx 886 k each it must have been approx 36 .... not near machine i downloaded them to.

it does take a while before the batteries work most efficiently.

i am happier than i was to start with , since work bought a £600.00 camera to take their pictures and my camera is every bit as useful as theirs.

I have taken 44 pix in a 2 hour session.

I took my family to dinner today to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday.

We had taken 6 shots & then the camera wouldn't switch on,

Remedy:

Remove the batteries & reinsert, no problems for the rest of the day, Strange.

I read that tip on the Kodak.co.uk forum

Cheers John - I will give that a go next time I use it! In fact I might even do it now and "waste some film" !

When I bought my Kyocera Fincam S3 I purchased a second battery which I keep with me fully charged.

I then interchange the two batteries to give maximum pictures.

Although I often have one battery go dry on me, I have never finished the second as well. They are then recharged before the next session.

That's my €uro's worth.

Run though a "film" as I suggested, and filled the 32MB card with pics at highest setting. All used with flash and LCD screen. Afterwards, I ran the slideshow on the LCD screen through about 4 or 5 times before the batteries died!

God knows why I had the failure I did before - the batteries were fully charged both times!

As the post above suggests - always handy to have spare bateries to hand. I have had a "shopping basket" at 7dayshop.com for about 2 weeks with some in it (along with extra MM card and charger etc), time to process the order I think)

Cheers
