Blocked users and e-mail subscriptions: is this possible?

When one blocks a user the body of their posts no longer appears in the forum view.
If one subscribes to a topic one gets sent an e-mail whenever someone posts in that topic, and the text of what they've posted is included in that e-mail.
However, one also get an e-mail, and the text of the posting from users that one has blocked.
Does Drupal give the ability to NOT send e-mails containing the postings of users one has blocked?
