Having searched high and low for a good on screen PPM meter for my pro tools set up a good friend pointed me in the direction of PPMulator+
I now use it all the time as being ex broadcast I need proper PPM metering, it even has 5.1 and I have found it great value at less than £50.
It also includes VST, audio unit and stand alone versions and you can download a demo version from here:

Hope you find it as useful as I do, I find that the bar graph PPM's are the most accurate.
