resize video to 600px

hi,

have been asked to provide a video for a website, they said it needs to be resized to 600px

What does that mean?? how can i export form abobe prem with these settings??

600 vertical or 600 horizontal ?
16:9 or 4:3 ?
what codec ?

some will only encode to nearest xx pixels ( 16 in the case of xvid or 32 )

sorry per , i was just hinting that 600px on it's own was as much use ( i.e. they didn't give enough info ) as a chocolate fireguard.

aye know...i have never been asked to resize something in terms of pixles...so didnt know what it was supposed to do??
