This was very different for me. I shot some footage recently for a company in NYC that distributes science news stories to TV affiliates across the company. So my work might appear on TV soon! You can check it out here if you are interested. It's an interesting clip about detecting skin cancer through smell. I did none of the editing, just the shooting.

S'good!
I remember reading an article about that in New Scientist or Focus Magazine a while ago - interesting stuff.
Different from the training videos. Must have been a bit refreshing Mike?
Rock solid Mike. Your filming skills has improved dramatically:)
Did you buy, use a new tripod???
Cheers,

INCREDIBLY refreshing to not have to shoot half naked men in their underwear for a change!!! :D :D

New tripod AND I've been practicing with it in my spare time. Thanks!
However, many of those shots were hand held. I shot both ways simultaneously because I found it much easier to get all the detail shots the way I was used to shooting. Also I am much steadier hand held these days than I have ever been from having done it so much these past few years.
The production company had specifically requested locked down tripod shots only, so I was very flattered to see them using the hand held shots as well.
