Lav mics on upside down

Whilst watching some tv programs, news reporters in particular,i 've noticed that quite a few of them wear their wireless lavs upside down.
Why ?
I presume that this isn't by accident.

It stops nose blow - the phishing sound on exhaling through the nose.

Yes - and as the mic. is omni and so small it makes no difference to the frequency response.
