A psychologist would have a field day! :)
who's the talent?
Cheers for looking guys - This was produced for a competition, with the topic 'The Hole' and this is my interpretation.
I'm a fan of Hitchcock and Milligan, so only a 'slant' on the topic would do for me.
The 'talent' is Toeknee, my B.I.L. Great acting eh!
I found it a bit too close to home! Have you ever tried to dig up a mole that's systematically destroying the lawn? :D
It's a shame the compression on the site is so poor. You should put it on Revver for better quality and cashback.
I probably did as much damage as your moles, but that was intentional.
Thanks for looking. The VEOH uploads can be upgraded for free, something I'm going to do when I get time.
Nicely done!
What was your reason for choosing short transitions that went to black rather than hard cuts or cross fades between clips? I'm not questioning the choice, just curious as to your reasons for choosing it. I do think it was effective.
Thanks for watching Mike and glad you liked it.
The quick FTB's were added to enhance the dark mood of the piece.
think I would shorten the intro, up to the point when the digger notices the strange goings-on behind him
IMHO
:)

I worked for me, although if I may critique a bit more...the piece is ALMOST too long to sustain that many FTBs between each cut. I was just getting to the point where I found them excessive when the piece ended.
I would agree about shortening the intro. It did seem a bit redundant.
Other than that, well done.
Always happy to listen and learn.
The intro was for me essential in establishing the scene.
In hindsight (a wonderful thing and I wish my foresight was half as good), I would have quickened the pace of digging the hole.
Branny,
I've just been looking at your website (very nice too!), and I wondered if you could spill the beans as to what the music is on the Lucy and John Highlight Sample? I know it's Dancing Queen, but who by? That is, if it's not a trade secret!
I really liked it.

There's always a little nip or tuck that can be made here or there.
